Iowa Volunteerism Resources

The 10,000 Hours Show, a first-of-its-kind project, seeks to encourage community volunteerism by rewarding civic engagement with a concert ticket. The concert is a celebration of our achievements and the only admission is ten or more hours of volunteering. This is a state-wide initiative and open to all students across Iowa!

The United Way of Central Iowa manages an online database of volunteer opportunities. You can volunteer for one-time opportunities or long-term projects! Search for agencies in the central part of the state.
